Ir. Nurlisa Ginting, MSc, Ph.D., HDI, chaired and presented the presentation on the establishment of the USU Faculty/School of Architecture and Planning. In her presentation, she conveyed the importance of establishing the faculty/school from the aspect of the development of the grouping of architecture fields at various universities, which have a trend of unique and differences from engineering schools (engineering). Based on the business aspect, its needs, and relevance to the development and challenges of the work, the Architect Law No. 6 of 2017 requires building planners and the built environment to have specific skills that require adjustment, so the Department of Architecture can develop more if it is under the independent faculty.
